You may also use * as a wildcard and the Boolean constructs, AND, NOT, OR, and (parentheses).
SEARCH THE NATIONAL LIBRARY OF MEDICINE
You may research any medical topic at no cost in the National Library of Medicine Database (MEDLINE). We encourage you to search the MEDLINE database on any medical topic you have an interest in. However, keep in mind that 20% or so of the world's total biomedical literature is indexed by MEDLINE. Many clinical reports of alternative, complimentary and integrative medicine are not included. The NLM MEDLINE database is biased toward pharmaceutical and surgical therapies. Nonetheless, MEDLINE is a huge database, including abstracts of an enormous amount of medical research and technical scientific information going back 30 years. Copies of full text articles may be obtained by visiting the closest medical school or hospital library. Many can be downloaded online
